Update 2022
A message from Danielle:
I took these pics every time we landed somewhere with the trailer with a tiny camera on 110 film. Many changes have happened since then, and I'm so excited to share what's next. It hasn't been an easy few years for anyone. I hit hard times as I endured health problems, a few surgeries and family changes even before the pandemic. My art practice suffered the most, but I am proud to say those days are behind me. Though I am sad to watch road life drift slowly into the past, I currently look forward to the future of adventure and art making. I'll be retelling this story a lot for a few posts, but for those who aren't aware, Walker and I have settled into a home base on Martha’s Vineyard and will not continue the mobile lifestyle at this time. Trailer life was an absolute dream. But in order to provide what our art careers needed to grow we needed to be in one spot. BarnYard Saints Art, born by me (Danielle) will be having a name change soon along with many new works and designs. This new look will still encompass all things I'm passionate about, creatures and textiles and old art forms. Walker has taken his paintings to a whole new level and I encourage you to go over to his page and follow what hes been cooking @walkertroman and also his more traditional painting style here @walkerpaintspictures

Walker and Danielle were working as artists on the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard and now travel the country sharing, selling and making their art
Danielle Mulcahy is a illustrator, filmmaker, and multimedia artist residing in Massachusetts with a BFA in illustration and Film, Video. She has illustrated children's books, magazine editorials, directed, shot, and edited creative films for private companies, musicians, other artists and herself. Lately she has been concentrating on creative collaborations with musicians creating videos and documentaries while working on her independent short film series called "The Seed Series". When she is not filmmaking she is illustrating for books and magazines with the common theme of farming and self sustainable living. She also spends time processing sheep and alpaca fiber to spin Skein Scarves for her pop up shop BarnYard Saints on Martha's Vineyard. In her spare time she is playing viola or outside mountain biking and getting into a variety of other potential hazardous, adventurous situations.

Mr. Roman’s artwork draws from a number of sources. His paintings are often mixed media abstractions, using acrylics and oils. Some incorporate edgier tools like silk screening and spraypaint. Lately, Mr. Roman says he has been inspired by an English landscape painter named J.W. Turner, and Philip Guston, an artist who Mr. Roman says “made giant ugly paintings.” Mr. Roman says he uses a lot of traditional structures and techniques, but they are often disguised: “I’m trying to ride this line between something that looks clumsy but perhaps gains a lot of its presence through that,” he said.- The MV Times
My name is Walker T. Roman, I am a Massachusetts based artist currently living on the island of Martha's Vineyard. Working primarily as a painter my recent work focuses on perception of landscapes and the abstractions both visual and linguistic we impose to understand them. While in Boston I produced mostly large scale abstractions which can been seen in my portfolio section, though returning to the rural setting of my upbringing has brought me back to smaller more tangible subjects for the time being.
